One of my lawn customers gave me an old snowblower that she had not run in at least 15 years  i tried everything to get it to start  would start with carb cleaner and quit as soon as that burned off.  Was at home depot saw the bottle bought it put it in left it for a day starts up first pull.  Just got back from hd got 2 more bottles used one on an echo and a ryobi blower that ran like crap and had not bjeen started in 3 years  well they both start now and run just fine.

Your products are the best on the market. StaXXXXn made my lawnmower sputter. I  put Mechanic In A Bottle in next tank of gas and machine ran smooth as silk. Your formulations seem to be more optimized than StaXXXXn or Z-XXax both of which use one product for every application including diesel. By the way your diesel mechanic in a bottle is doing a good job in my oil burner; I add a quart before every fill-up. 

I have a 3 year old Echo String Trimmer. Last season, I had trouble starting it and the thing woudl only run if I kept my finger on the blader trigger at all times, ie it would not idle. This season it would not start period. I purchased a bottle of MIB, used as directed and let it sit for 48 hours actually to make sure it had plenty of time to clean up that carb. Sure enought the Echo started on the second pull and is running as it did the day I bought it. This stuff works. I will definitely be keeping a bottle on hand and also getting the fuel stabilizer for my mower.

I had a motorcycle I bought that had sat around alot from its previous owner and could barely get it to start without starting fluid or idle right. Me and my dad ran some Mechanic-In-A-Bottle through the carbs, let it sit overnight, then ran some fresh gas in. The thing fired right up. I'll never think of this as snake-oil.

I used mechanic in a bottle in a cub cadet zero turn lawn mower that wouldn't start, after letting it sit for 2 days the lawn mower started right up. I will always keep a bottle of this stuff around from now on.

I did what you recommended J Primed “ the system for a couple of minutes to push out the Mechanic in a Bottle back into the tank and at the same it will push fresh fuel into the carburetor”. Then I started pulling with the rope start.

It took a long time, but it finally sputtered, then I used ½ choke and it started. It ran and quit a few times, then it finally ran steady until it was out of fuel. Your product is amazing and great, I would recommend it.

I hadn't been able to start my Poulan weed eater for 5 years, used my fathers . I put one 4 oz. bottle in and let it set for 48 hours and after 15 minutes it started and has been running great for the last month. This stuff works.

I bought a 3 year warranty because I hate mowers That never start the next season. I was fully prepares to drag it into the warranty center. I couldnt understand it. I had used another stabilizer and winterized my 1 year old mower properly paying extra careful attention.  As a last ditch effort, I put the the MIB in my mower. 3 pulls later, it started up stronger running than the end of the season. This is a awesome product. You won me over today!!!

Having been a large lawnmower sales and service dealer for over 37 years, I was skeptical of the product when I first heard about it. But since trying it myself and recommending it to many of my customers (We sell it in our store, now) I am very impressed in how this works. Most additives that I have evaluated fall way short of expectations, in fact most I have tried were outright scams. Not "Mechanic in a bottle". Many of our customers that have units that do not run correctly due to restricted carburetors that have been gummed up by old gas sitting in them, have been able to use the "Mechanic in a Bottle" as directed and save a very costly carburetor cleaning and rebuilding. The stuff is really amazing. Keep in mind, though, that there will always be some carburetors that are too far gone to be corrected by this product and will still needed to be rebuilt or replaced, but I would always recommend trying the "Mechanic in a bottle" FIRST. In addition, it is one of the ONLY products that seem to be a very good fuel stabilizer as well. Older versions of fuel stabilizers just plain DON'T WORK! The same company also makes a product called "Ethanol Shield" This is nearly the same product, but does not have the same cleaners and is mainly used to stabilize gas for storage. Both will do nearly the same jobs except the "Mechanic in a bottle" has the very special cleaners that are made to completely dissolve the varnish and restore the fuel to its usable state. I give this product a 5 Star rating.

I have 3 Echo string trimmers. I treated the 2 newer ones with MIB and they immediately began running better. I keep a blade on the old trimmer. I once cleared 10 acres with it but seldom use it now. I decided to treat it also. I emptied the tank and the fuel looked like crude oil. I filled it with 50/1 with an 1/2 ounce of MIB. It started right up and idled smoothly. I never have been able to start it without taking the air filter off and priming it since it doesn't have a primer bulb. I was amazed I didn't have to do anything other than pull the starter 2 times for it to start.

Every time I use the product in my personal vehicle, I instantly notice the pick up. My car runs so much smoother with every use.

I have a small 2 cycle cultivator that is a bear to start especially after months on non-usage. I used it for the first time today (20 Feb 12) I knew it would be a bear to start. I mixed the fuel and after almost ripping my arm off trying to start it I added an ounce of Mechanic In a Bottle and it started on the next rip! I am highly impressed with this product and proud that it is made in America.

I rarely write letters like this because when I buy a product I expect it to work as claimed. My previous experience with products like this has not been good. All have promised the world and delivered very little if anything in the way of results. I bought Mechanic in a Bottle as a last resort before sending my mower to the repair shop at $65/hour and a 2 to 6 week wait. In the case of your product I was pleasantly surprised.

I had treated my mower with another product at the end of last season and it wouldn't even try to start. The only way I could get it to even try was with starter fluid.

I followed the instructions for Mechanic in a Bottle and the next morning, after refilling the gas tank it started on the first pull. You have a customer and supporter in me!

I just wanted to say you have an amazing product. You saved me from having to buy a new $300 lawn mower. Thank you, you are a lifesaver!

By this Sunday afternoon in August I was fed up. Since the early spring my lawn mower was getting harder and harder to start. Now no matter how hard I pulled or primed my mower was dead. It gave me no hint of even thinking about starting. When I went to the website of my favorite Mower repair shop there was a link to stories about the problems that using Ethanol might cause to a small engine. The solution was to treat my gas with a stabilizer.

Because in Georgia almost all gas purchased in the spring and summer is Ethanol I went right over to Home Depot to get some ethanol fuel stabilizer. When I compared the labels of various products "Mechanic In A Bottle" was the only one that had instructions for use on an engine that would not start. I bought a bottle of MIB and followed the instructions.

What a pleasant surprise the next day when my dead mower came to life and started right up on my FIRST pull of the starter cord.
